Welcome to my website, thank you for visiting. I am a visiting assistant professor in political science at the University of South Carolina Columbia and a PhD candidate in public policy at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. My dissertation titled Flooded with complexity: Do organizational structural complexity and budgetary flexibility impact natural disaster preparedness? provides research about the effects of organizational structure and budgetary flexibility on organizational performance of natural disaster preparedness in higher education institutions. I have additional research and teaching interests that focus on public budgeting, finance, and management.
